Inspect, test, maintain, repair and modify the electrical systems andequipment within the Rochester hydro facilities. Ensure work performedis safe, efficient and in support of defined business goals.


1. Inspect, test, troubleshoot, maintain, repair and, as-assigned,modify electrical systems and equipment within the hydro facilities.Perform work in compliance with company policies, procedures andpractices as well as regulatory requirements.(75%,P)

2. Respond to hydro emergency and problem situations on an as-neededseven days per week, 24 hour basis.(10%,P)

3. Perform other duties as assigned such as but not limited to hydrooperations, support other skilled workers, building maintenance,operate motor vehicles and specialized and heavy equipment, maintain

stores and inventory, maintain equipment histories, mark-up drawings anddocuments, supervise contract workers and train other workers on-thejob.(10%,P)

4. Develop and maintain skills and knowledge required to perform allassigned duties and responsibilities through formal, computer-based andon-the-job training.(5%,S)



Skills/Abilities:Electrical maintenance, test and troubleshooting; off-hoursavailability; results and proactive orientation; tagout - lockout rules,basic computer skills

Experience/Training:5 years generation plant electrical maintenance

Certifications:Valid Driver's License

Required Education:High school diploma or GED, formal training in electrical maintenance isdesirable

Required Experience:5 years generation plant electrical maintenance
