Job Summary: Major Roles & Responsibilities:
Use full range of administrative and technical knowledge and experience to assist and support management in
meeting the objectives and responsibilities of the Division and to assist the team to achieve and exceed established
goals. Organize, compile, summarize and
analyze data/statistics and produce a variety of reports. Update, maintain and ensure accuracy of computerized
and other data.

Perform mathematical calculations and manipulate statistical data.
Maintain confidentiality of all written documents and sensitive discussions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Validate, process and troubleshoot all work submitted by our external contractors for accuracy and
processing of large volume of work/invoices.
• Accurately develop and maintain electronic databases, spreadsheets and files that are critical to the
day-to-day operations of the Construction and Engineering groups.
• Handle customer inquiries. This includes: resolving invoice/payment issues with suppliers and Avangrid
• Meet regularly with contractors to streamline and improve invoice process and mitigate issues to allow
smooth flow of work.
• Utilizing SAP create all necessary documentation for the complete, accurate, and timely purchase and
payment of goods and services for the Construction and Engineering groups.
• Independently prepare and review all documentation for the purchase of goods and services. Reviews
documentation for accuracy, and researches and resolves complex issues and discrepancies, and proactively
monitors workflows in SAP.
• Key liaison for both internal and external customers, Procurement, and Accounts Payable groups.

• Enter and retrieve information requested to assist in budgetary and regulatory filings.
• Run reports and queries that are required for budgetary and regulatory filings.
• Prepares, records, and reconcile all financial accruals for the Construction and Engineering group with
minimal supervision.
• Prepare and assemble documentation required for State and Local billing on construction projects.
• Applies knowledge/skills to solve a range of complex activities within own area and responds to inquiries
from others; solve complex problems including new or unusual assignments.

Job Requirements: Education, Skills, Abilities & Competencies:
• AS Degree Experience
• Requires an Associate's degree from an accredited college/university in a related discipline* must have
knowledge of business math and accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of personal computer applications such as Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Familiarity with database applications is required.
• Experience with some advanced software applications may be required.

• Six years of business-related experience required.
• Ability to effectively communicate (written and oral) with all levels of management and non-management
• Ability to effectively and accurately organize large quantities of critical information that affect multiple
• Ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, other Divisions, and organizations outside of
UIL, including customers.
• Ability to utilize analysis and presentation tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and working as a team member.
