Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, other relationships:

The position will provide maintenance and support of the implementation of automated job scheduling tasks to
support critical business processes. Will work with other IT Technical and Applications teams provide operational
support and prompt resolution of production batch failures.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):

• Provide timely responses to all incidents, tasks and requests assigned to meet Service Level Agreements.
• Work with internal clients, IT project teams and other IT technical / applications staff to support effective and
efficient job scheduling solutions.
• Provide implementation of job schedules following the change management process.
• Prepare and maintain production schedules via automated scheduling software (AutoSys)
• Move test elements into the production environment in a required timeframe.
• Schedule off-hours production requests
• Assist in developing Production Support standards and procedures.
• Ensure adherence of Production Support standards, including job documentation, in relation to applications
turnovers or implementations.
• Work independently on assigned projects specialized for Production Support.
• Assist during maintenance windows by modifying job schedules as needed.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues related to batch failures ensuring timely resolutions
• Document production job failures in problem tickets
• On a rotating basis, provide 24x7 on call support for critical job failures.


Education & Experience Required:

• Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five years' experience within Computer Operations.
• Minimum two years' experience within Production Support.


• Thorough knowledge of third party in house products (eg: Autosys, Automic UC4) used within Production Support.
• Working knowledge of distributed platforms, UNIX, SAP, Wintel
• Good oral, written and communications skills.
• Ability to interface with various business units in relation to IS.
