The Business Performance group is responsible for all aspects of internal management reporting (variance analysis
vs prior year, budget and forecast), support of the external quarterly reporting as it relates to Avangrid Renewables,
the creation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, and the ongoing accounting support for the development,
construction and operations groups within the business. Reporting directly to the Business Performance Director,
this Lead Senior position within the group plays an important role in managing the group's information systems
needs as well as being able to provide analysis and support for income statement variances. The responsibilities
associated with the role include:

• Manage the group's financial reporting tools. Ownership of loading and data integrity of the reporting system
(BPC) involving reconciling to the primary ledger system (SAP) and other systems of record for the monthly actual,
quarterly forecast, and annual budget information.
• Providing monthly analysis - vs. budget, forecast and prior year - to provide qualitative and interpretative
explains of the variances of the primary income statement variances (Gross Margin, O&M, depreciation, interest).
• Assistance and support in the monthly performance pack meetings with Avangrid parent.
• Creating and assisting in the quarterly 10Q/10K support including quarterly variance analysis (actual results
vs prior year and quarter) and support of investor relations data.
• Detailed involvement in the creation of the annual budget process and quarterly forecasting process -
involving a +$1B annual gross margin budget covering 3 main business lines and over 65 facilities and investment
spend of up to +$1B.
• Provision of information and general support of monthly reporting to our global renewables team.
• Developing close working relationships with numerous other groups in the company, including Operations,
Construction, HR & Tax, to ensure forecasts include all relevant information.
• Ownership of the O&M reporting, to provide VP's with monthly information on their expenditures and
commitments vs budget in order to understand and explain variances.

• Demonstrable systems skills in both ledger and financial planning/reporting systems.
• 5+ years' experience in industry or role relevant to job requirements.
• Sound understanding of US GAAP or IFRS.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the corporate hierarchy on written and oral
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Skilled to work independently with management oversight.

Preference may be given to candidates with the following:

• Experience of intricate planning and consolidation systems (BPC preferred).
• An additional 2+ years' experience in industry or role similar to job requirements.
• CPA license and/or graduate business degree.
• Energy experience.
