JOB SUMMARY:

Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, other relationships:

This position is responsible for product, market, marketing and communication strategies that position the companyto achieve long term growth, while meeting annual revenue and profitability goals. Continually identify and assessnew markets, products and technology opportunities and ensure resources are in place to drive marketing strategyand capitalize on opportunities.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):


• Set up and manage the Marketing, Products and Services organization
• Serve as a key and active member of the senior management team
• Provide leadership for the development of state and national strategic marketing plans including objectives andstrategy for targeted markets
• Drive efforts to define and execute an overall product and technology portfolio strategy that will drive the long termgrowth of the organization
• Lead the process for the continuous evaluation of trends and adjust strategy to capitalize on shifts in themarketplace. Including the process of obtaining and disseminating competitive intelligence
• Oversee product and pricing development in line with marketing strategies and business goals


• Develop and support strategic partnerships in marketing and product development
• Analyze existing product and markets in terms of the ability to compete, gain market share, grow revenue andsustain or grow profitability
• Monitors business metrics in regard to revenues, profitability, market share and product portfolio mix.Communicate these metrics to the senior management team
• Collaborate with Sales and Business Development to define effective sales channels of all products
• Establish effective relationship with the sales force with leadership, training, pricing and positioning expertise
• Coordinate across Retail Administration and Customer Care to ensure alignment to meet company goals
• Establish metrics for the measurement of marketing program effectiveness
• Develop and manage the marketing budget
• Lead the company’s communication and branding efforts in coordination with Corporate Communications
• Responsible (in collaboration with sales) for the development of the company’s revenue forecast
• Ensure consistency and quality across all markets
• Develop and provide leadership for a high performing product management team to drive the execution ofstrategic marketing plans to meet overall business objectives
• Responsible for the overall management of the marketing team providing coaching, leadership and assistancewith resources and strategy development

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience Required:
• BA/BS Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education andexperience
• 10+ years sales & marketing experience in an energy focused technology driven company
• Five or more years in a leadership position
• Experience in strategic planning and collaboration with executive, sales, product development and key operationalgroups
• Proven record of leadership and managing a marketing organization with national responsibility and establishinglong term strategic growth initiatives
• Proven success and track record as an individual contributor and manager who has grown top line results

Education & Experience Preferred:
• MBA or other relevant advanced degree
• Experience in a clinical and regulated environment
• Sales background a plus
• Experience working in a global company or matrix reporting organization
• Fluency in Spanish a plus

independently with minimal direction
• Excellent communications and presentation skills
