The role of the IT Business Systems Analyst, Ld/Sr is to support business applications and operational systems as
well as provide expertise in design and development of creative solutions to support key business functions. The
role will also provide support related to the coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of application
IT projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, standards, commitments and goals.

• Focused, hands-on application support for applications using a variety of technologies
• Provide business and technical expertise to the user community
• Work with users to define system requirements for new systems and to resolve issues in current processes
• Write detailed descriptions of user needs, system processes, program functions and the steps required to
modify them
• Act as a liaison to provide IT teams and business personnel with clear understanding of business
requirements - build and maintain strong internal customer relationships
• Develop project scopes to support business strategy, align with business objectives. Interface, report and
work with high management company stakeholders.
• Manage small and medium size IT Applications Projects. Lead the development and implementation of
projects to meet the company goals and business requirements.
• Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete
the project, defining the required resources to meet project goals (schedule, budget, equipment, and human
resource), risks and contingency plans.
• Ensure project execution by controlling and monitoring project timeline, budget, scope, risks, and changes.
• Lead and coordinate project team and interface with national and international distributed global business
• Work following internal company standards for Project Management in coordination with the PMO office.
• Perform a variety of tasks and has a proven ability to work with minimal supervision
• Provide business and technical expertise to the user community
• Provide support for migration of upgrades, patches, new releases of systems

• Build and sustain strong relationships with key system users
• Provide support for Outage Management, and Balancing Authority Systems.

• 5+ years of experience in systems analysis/design and implementation
• 3+ years of experience managing projects
• A Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong technical background and understanding of network, systems, application and data storage concepts.
• Proven experience in people management, strategic project execution, strategic planning, risk management,
change management.
• Excellent planning, project management, organizational skills, flexibility, and customer focus.
• Ability to coordinate, manage and work with national and international delivery teams living in different time
zones and continents.
• Excellent communications skills and capacity to manage cultural differences in a project team.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Windows and the complete MS Office Suite
• Strong teamwork skills with self-motivation to achieve success
• Strong analytical skills used to troubleshoot issues
• Strong knowledge of IT concepts, practices, controls and procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both
businesses and technical personnel

Preference may be given to candidates with the following:
• Knowledge of specific energy software products - OATI's webTag, webTrans, webAccounting
• Knowledge of the functions of an Outage Management System
• Knowledge of the functions of a Balancing Authority
• Technical knowledge of SQL, scripting, XML, etc.
• Fluency in Spanish language.
