Description
The Lead/Senior Investment and Business Performance Analyst is responsible for performing internal
cross-functional analysis and market & competitor follow up within the Investment and Business Performance
group.

The Investment and Business Performance group is primarily accountable for evaluating all renewable origination
and development transactions. As well as performing global internal analysis and tracking market and competitor
trends. It serves as both a challenger and partner to the business with respect to transaction analysis, pipeline
evaluation, and global analysis. The team, which also has international relationships, heavily interacts with other
local departments such as Control, Finance, Risk Management and Fundamentals.

The analyst will work closely with the rest of the group to identify key areas of cross-analysis and provide tools that
help obtain a better understanding of the general environment. The position also will have a strong relationship with
the Global Iberdrola Investment office. He/she will also interact with stakeholders from other business units.

This position will report to the Global Analysis manager within the Investment and Business Performance group.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop global projects and analysis within the Investment & Business Performance team.
• Consolidate project specific information enabling the comparison analysis from a global perspective.
• Homogenize analysis and evaluation criteria for the different geographical areas and technologies, managing
the consistency and coherence of information.
• Analyze the renewable operating portfolio value, profitability, projections and income statement contribution.
• Analyze the renewable pipeline to assess its viability and alignment with the company strategy and
projections.
• Perform the analysis and monitoring of the renewable sector. Regulation, technology, trends, financial
products, M&A activity, etc.

• Follow up and analyze the main competitors within the renewable sector. Strategic and financial analysis.
• Prepare documentation required by the management team for decision making.
• Carry out data consolidation and coordination tasks within the Investment & Business Performance team.

Requirements
• A bachelor's degree in economics, finance, or related field is required or equivalent combination of education
and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the utility/energy industry
• Demonstrated business and financial analysis skills. Experience in the development and use of financial
models is a plus.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the business.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong presentation skills, combined with written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Microsoft Office advance user (Excel, Power Point, Word)
• Ability to manage large amounts of data. Experience using Tableau or similar programs is a plus.
• English language proficiency, both written and verbal. Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
