Job Summary:

Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, and other relationships:

The MGP/Remediation Environmental Project Manager is responsible for coordinating activities between several
project, located in Maine, New York and Connecticut. MGP/Remediation projects include but are not limited to site
characterization, investigation, remedial action, site management, and ongoing maintenance.

Responsibility includes management of the work focused on meeting the regulatory requirements and coordinating
the remediation programs . Must considering innovation and efficiency in site recommendations and means and
methods of remediation.

Represents the company in regulatory and public forums. Accountable for the work of external contractors and
other internal business areas. Holds self accountable for performance and results. Provides technical and business
solutions to senior management. Ensures delivering projects on schedule, within budget and in conformance to
quality, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.

Major Roles and Responsibilities (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):
•Proactive approach to overseeing work, measures progress and takes actions to ensure projects are delivering
within scope, on time and within budget. Approves project plans, executes contract strategies to undertake work
and controls and authorizes expenditures. Initiates actions to ensure compliance with a project management and
quality management processes and procedures.
•Coordinates with other departments, consultants, attorneys, utilities, regulatory agencies, government agencies,
and major customers. May represent the company and testify in regulatory hearings or at Federal, State or local

agency or municipal meetings.
•Interfacing with municipal stakeholders and local permitting agencies
•Plans, designs and executes all projects and provides outputs for budget development.
•Responsible for meeting budget commitment and proactively forecasts any potential changes to site conditions or
approvals and informs management.
•Manages contractors performing services. Sets goals and direction to align and undertakes action plans, program
management to accomplish goals.
•Initiates actions to control scope, schedule and cost performance. Proactive approach to overseeing work
measures progress and takes actions to ensure budgets and deadlines are achieved. Approves project plans,
executes contract strategies to undertake work and controls and authorizes expenditures. Initiates actions to ensure
compliance with a project management and quality management processes and procedures. Assures projects are
completed within the approved scope, schedule and budget
•Coordinates with other departments, consultants, attorneys, utilities, regulatory agencies, government agencies,
and major customers. May represent the company and testify in regulatory hearings or at Federal, State or local
agency or municipal meetings.
•Considers innovative ways to undertake work, promoting automation and efficiencies in day to day work streams
•Provides recommendations on policies and goals desired and implements new/revised processes and procedures
according to established guidelines
•Responsible for the overall management and control of projects including O&M and Capital
•Responsible for ensuring the risk control system is utilized.

Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience Required:
•Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Environmental Related Science
•MBA or MS Preferred
•PE Preferred
•7 years of experience in engineering science.
•Experience leading and managing multiple teams and multi project portfolio
•Participation in regulatory proceedings and testimony
•PMP Certification
•Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Skills/Abilities:
•Ability to mobilize team members to deliver projects on time and under budget
•Expert in integrating Scheduling IT tools and software: MS Project with costs and resource requirements.
•Advanced skills in utilizing in risk management and mitigation plans
•Advanced skills in utilizing MS Excel for data analysis, budgeting and planning and optimizing schedules
•Ability to use and query SAP
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Public presentation skills and ability to summarize concepts utilizing Microsoft Project

•Results oriented
•Understanding of quality assurance processes and implement with project structure
•Expert knowledge in environmental science related to site remediation
•Oversight of field personnel and construction contractors
•Proven ability to lead teams and work in a team environment
•Team oriented
