Job Description

Responsibilities

Works independently with oversight by the department manager and is responsible for the development and management of the following services and programs:

  • Management of telecommunications projects involving mobile and fixed phones
  • Management of conference room, video conferencing, and audiovisual services projects
  • Management of multifunction device projects
  • Management or support of integration projects
  • Responsible for negotiating contracts, services, and rates
  • Responsible for managing existing contracts and ensuring compliance
  • Responsible for driving project work to completion on time and on budget
  • SOX and US GAAP reporting coordination and SAP RE program development and management
  • Special projects within the Business Technical Services Department
     
    This position includes the development, revision, and implementation of policies and rules for Avangrid Management Company.  Additionally, it performs complex studies and analyzes data to identify gaps and possible improvements.

Skills and Requirements

Education & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Business Management or Technology Management, or an
  • Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years of business related experience.
  • Project Management with at least 5 years of relevant experience, with PMP certification preferred.
  • MBA or MS degree strongly desired.
  • Proficiency in SAP purchasing module and/or SAP RE module.
  • Working knowledge of Iberdrola Global procurement process

  • Can develop and create clear, concise reports to be presented at director and/or executive levels.
  • Able to work outside of normal business hours during storms and other events.
  • Ability to travel to all of the regional offices.
