Description

Duties:The Port Engineer / O&M port coordinator shall be responsible for:

o Liaise with Project Development team and assist in the process of gaining consent/approval for the temporaryconstruction base and the O&M base/building.o Liaise with Project Development team and attend meetings with stakeholders as required.o Liaise with the designers in relation to all work required for the temporary construction base and O&M base.o Manage the procurement of all contracts, from ITT preparation to hand over, for any part of the work required toensure that the temporary and permanent port infrastructure.o Prepare decision papers for management where required, including reasoning and cost/benefit analysis.o Report and manage the programme, including initial and continuing progress.o Managing the preparation and construction and O&M port upgrade contract that includes, but not limited to,liaisons with local stakeholders, oversee construction progress and planning, ensure contractor performs accordingto project requirements, ensure principal contractor performs according to Iberdrola quality, health, safety andenvironmental regulations, report to Iberdrola line managers, etc.o Produce and implement Site procedures.o Readiness of Construction office.

Requirements

Qualification

o Senior Engineer with previous experience as site manager, preferably in offshore.o Good communication skills and understanding of the works to be conducted.o Ability to develop and administer the team/workforce.o Ability to foresee problems and complexities and provide proposals for solutions, especially regarding localproblems coming from unforeseen events, local authorities, fishermen, other third parties etc.o Experience in communication with contractors and stakeholderso Fluent in the French language, beneficial to understand Brittany dialect.

o Availability to relocate in the location of the scopeo Competent in MS software, including MS Project.
