Job Description


This position will provide support and work within all departments,

including: Operations, Engineering and Customer Service.  It will

be responsible for the monthly meter reading, installation and minor

repair of gas metering and control equipment.  It will be responsible

for completing work orders and the necessary recordkeeping for the

related work.


1.     Perform all duties associated with monthly meter reading.

2.     Perform credit and collections activities including

locking/unlocking meters as required.

3.     Process and complete required work orders for all meter related


4.     Process all regulatory reporting requirements.

5.     Support and assist all areas of operations with maintenance and

special projects as required.

6.     Respond to emergency odor investigations as required.

7.     Maintain all required Operator Qualifications

Skills and Requirements


•      Mechanically Inclined.

•      Ability to work independently.

•      Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

•      Skill to operate applicable equipment.

•      Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to

interact with customers and co-workers.

•      Available for 24/7 on-call rotation when necessary.


•      1-3 years of related experience.


•      High school graduate or equivalent

•      Valid state drivers’ license

       Valid State of Maine Propane License Preferred
