JOB SUMMARY:

This position will provide support and work within all departments,including: Operations, Engineering and Customer Service. It willbe responsible for the monthly meter reading, installation and minorrepair of gas metering and control equipment. It will be responsiblefor completing work orders and the necessary recordkeeping for therelated work.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Perform all duties associated with monthly meter reading.2. Perform credit and collections activities includinglocking/unlocking meters as required.3. Process and complete required work orders for all meter relatedwork.4. Process all regulatory reporting requirements.5. Support and assist all areas of operations with maintenance andspecial projects as required.6. Respond to emergency odor investigations as required.7. Maintain all required Operator Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Skills/Abilities:
• Mechanically Inclined.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Skill to operate applicable equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability tointeract with customers and co-workers.
• Available for 24/7 on-call rotation when necessary.Experience/Training:
• 1-3 years of related experience.Education/Requirements:
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Valid state drivers’ license

Valid State of Maine Propane License Preferred
