To lead an organization responsible for the work planning and assignments for all electric system construction,
maintenance, and inspection projects. Responsible for achieving acceptable crew utilization levels. Establishes the
resource management process and develops acceptable criteria for schedule adjustments. Acts as a liaison
between the engineering design/project management and construction operations for successful completion of the
work plan.

•Ensures that the work planners create realistic schedules maximizing the utilization of internal and external crew
resources (20%).
•Ensures that schedules are fully built out across the scheduling time window, and are reflective of the
corporations' goals and objectives (20%).
•Oversees departmental systems(e.g., SAP)reporting on tracking planned versus actual, day and dollar project,
work planned, work in progress, recent work completed and work in jeopardy (10%).
•Monitors variance root cause and course correction, and escalates issues as needed (10%).
•Ensure that resource availability information is accurately maintained and if resource qualification issues arises
work with PD Supervisors/planners and assigners to address (10%).
•Promote collaboration and continuous communication between WPRM and Construction Operations and
Construction Contractors (10%).
•Lead and attend regular planning meetings with key stakeholders (10%).
•Monitor project plan using appropriate scheduling applications against progress and if necessary raise issues to
Project Managers Able to ramp up systems, equipment/materials and people for outage events and emergency
response. Must be available for storm duty which may include weekends and/or night schedule (10%).

Educational Level:
Bachelor's degree with 5 years relevant experience; or an Associate's degree and 10 years of relevant experience;
or a High School Diploma and 15 years of relevant experience.

Previous project/business planning, budgeting and reporting experience preferred.

Additional Experience:
Must be able to create weekly, monthly, annual and long-range (5 year) construction plans and lead analysts of
work planning and assigners within a changing business environment. Position requires the development of Key
Performance Indicators (KPI's, or metrics) to track the construction backlog and actual performance of construction
projects. Responsible for overseeing daily assignments of work orders to internal crew resources and construction
Candidate must also possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to motivate and encourage a self-directed,
engaged workforce. Knowledge of electric system construction, operations, planning and related IT systems is
preferred. Requires the ability to manage and effectively supervise the Work Planning and Resource Management
function to meet goals and to develop personnel within the group. The successful candidate must possess strong
organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent duties.
