Manages various programs and projects on behalf of AVANGRID Networks with the objectives of timely and costeffective completion


1.Provides leadership on various programs and projects. The initial focus of this position will be to manageCommunications and Stakeholder engagement projects associated with the organization's Energy SmartCommunity Program and to represent AVANGRID Networks before various municipal, governmental and/orregulatory entities.

2.Prepares plans and budgets for programs and projects. Monitors progress against plans and reports to seniormanagement.3.Coordinates efforts of cross-functional project teams. Holds regular program/project status meetings.

4.Is the lead team member with respect to accomplishing day-to-day goals and provides expertise and immediacyof decision making. Holds project team members accountable for results.

5.Provides linkage to executives for decision making outside of day-to- day program/project team activities.



Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree with 7 years relevant experience required. Prior work experience in communications andstakeholder engagement strategy development and execution, public affairs and community relationsExperience leading implementation of complex initiativesExperience in business case development and benefits captureProven leadership ability within a matrix environment, including geographically dispersed teamsProven track record of achieving results in high pressure and high profile assignmentsExperience in managing vendor relationships


• Experienced in the energy industry and knowledge of business operations
• Development and execution of Communications and Stakeholder Engagement strategies
• Excellent public speaking skills; ability to deliver consistent messages to multiple internal and externalstakeholders in both one-on- one and audience settings
• Ability to interact with external stakeholders and senior management
• Knowledge of emerging distributed energy technologies and other innovation trends impacting the energy industry
• Demonstrated ability to work with teams and create an environment of collaboration both internally and externally
