This position is responsible for evaluating and providing analysis for renewable origination and asset development
transactions. The Investment and Business Performance Group evaluate all mid and long-term origination,
commodity, and asset transactions to ensure the accurate pricing and valuation of these transactions.
The investment and Business Performance Manager will report to the responsible of the Investment and Business
Performance group. He or she will be responsible of all the analysis done for a defined geographical area.
This position will report to the head of the Investment and Business Performance group. He or she will be
responsible of all the analysis done for a defined geographical area.
The Investment and Business Performance group is primarily accountable for evaluating all renewable origination
and development transactions. It serves as both a challenger and partner to the business with respect to
transaction pricing and review. The team, which also has international relationships, also heavily interacts with
other local departments such as Control, Finance, Risk Management and Credit. In summary, the key activities with
which the department is involved include:
Key Responsibilities
• Modeling the value, pricing and risk of both development opportunities and asset acquisition opportunities.
• Facilitating the approval process for projects is done with the best information available.
• Providing independent challenge to business opportunities from a global project/company perspective.
• Supporting portfolio and pipeline valuation modeling.
• Providing the modeling of asset performance for the evaluation of project and tax equity financing
opportunities in conjunction with Finance and Control.
• Supporting different business areas projects for internal and external related analysis.
• Performing market and competitor analysis.
• Facilitate the company's deal evaluation and approval process (DEVA).
• Providing structuring support for complex and/or long-dated origination, trading, development and acquisition


• Experience in the utility/energy industry with more than 5 years in business and financial analysis
• Proven experience in the development and use of financial models
• An ability to interact with all levels of the business.
• Demonstrated strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
• A bachelor's degree in economics, finance, or related field is required or equivalent combination of education
and experience.
• Strong presentation skills, combined with written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• English language proficiency, both written and verbal. Fluent in Spanish preferred.
