DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for prioritizing Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) HeadEnd System (HES), AMI Network and Operations Technologies teamresponsibilities related to technical design, configuration,implementation and support to meet business requirements. Serves asprimary technical contact for AMI HES users and process owners tounderstand technical requirements and ensuring overall systemimplementation meet business requirements. Primary technical contactfor requirements associated with AMI HES, Network, System monitoring,DBMS, Web Services and other applicable environments within OperationsTechnologies.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range ofresponsibilities):

1. Leads all technical enhancements requirements in the AMI HES, AMINetwork and other applications in Operations Technologies. Ensuringsystems are implemented to achieve attainment of system performance,availability, recoverability and all compliance requirements. (20%,P)

2. Develops technical solutions and/or configuration changes to meetongoing requirements. Leads implementation of changes as required andprepares specifications for approved changes performed by AMI supportand Operations and Compliance analysts (20%,P)

3. Leads support team responsibilities related to technical capabilitiesof AMI HES and Network and responsible for prioritizing technicalimplementation of web and program applications, coordinating technicalsystem upgrades and technical issue resolution with vendors. Responsiblemanaging operations of all aspect of the AMI Network system andoperations and compliance of the AMI Network and control centertechnical platforms and related services from architectural planningthrough day to day operations and support. (20%,P)

4. Leads coordination with end users and process owners to understandongoing requirements (changes, modifications, improvements) and ensuingoverall technical solution of system implementation for AMI Network, AMIHES, web service, integration integrity with Operations Technologies, ITand business users. Ensuring timely and accurate solutions to thebusiness areas, including tracking and addressing unresolved userrequests. (20%,P)

5. Leads team in creating and maintaining technical documentation,change management principles, system performance trend analysis,management and integration of different technical components, trainingand compliance material. (20%,P)

RequirementsJOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience Required:

• Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required. Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience preferred.

• Leadership experience preferred.

• Working knowledge of networking and network management tools.

Certifications:• NERC CIP Certification as appropriate.

Skills/Abilities:

• Extensive technical background with knowledge in technicalhardware architecture, Linux/Unix/Windows Operating System familiarity,networking and topology, understanding of high level network and

security concepts, radio networks, firmware updates. Familiar withZigbee wireless protocols in and around 802.1x, FCC regulations.

• Technical background with network functionality and toolsincluding SSH, Traceroute, ping, understanding of DHCP, routing, VPNtechnologies, IP addressing/cidr boundaries, firewall concepts andarchitecture.

• Proven ability to learn new technologies, solve complex technicalissues and present complex information in an understandable compellingmanner.

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, BRIO and otherbusiness analytical tools.

• Must possess good verbal and written communication skills withdemonstrated ability to work with all levels of the organization in aprofessional manner.

• High level of organizational skills.

• Maintaining the integrity of data extraction, storage,manipulation, and processing.

• Broad knowledge of network management systems and reporting(utilization, capacity and availability) and tools including WhatsupGold, Testbench, Procare, WhatsUpGold, 3rd level support, UnitySuite,NEMS (Network Element Management System).
