DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:Promotes the sale of electricity, natural gas and/or other products and optimize relationships with key accountcustomers. Plans and manages OPCO strategy and relationships with electric and gas key account customers.Investigates customer bypass threats and negotiates competitive rates to minimize bypass and maximize customerrevenue.

Assists in the development and application of OPCO policies, ensuring that revenue is maximized.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:(% of Time, Primary / Secondary)1.Provides technical assistance, energy industry insight, account planning, relationship management, customerservice, technical assistance, marketing and sales activities, and public relations to these key account customers.Assists with credit and collections activities and supports other departments as required.(25%,P)2.Meets regularly with and communicates with key account customers to promote the sale of electricity, natural gasand other products and services to key account customers. Provides assigned key accounts with excellent accountmanagement including technical assistance and rate analyses.(20%,P)3.Maintains close working relationship with key account customers to develop early warning of threats to companyrevenue. Plans and executes strategy to avoid customer bypass, including negotiating long-term pricingagreements, use of incentive rates and involvement of other company and outside resources.(15%,P)4.Plans short and long-range direction for Company involvement with key account customers; leads Companypersonnel toward achievement of these plans.(10%,S)5.Provides high-level rate and tariff interpretation to support business attraction and retention activities. May lead

pricing negotiations for sales and retention efforts with key accounts.(10%,S)6.Achieves electric and gas sales and marketing program goals, including the sale and implementation of productsand services, ISO (load curtailment) programs and other mandated outreach with key account customers.(10%,S)7.Researches complex issues and coordinates resolution of engineering, right-of-way and rate issues. Assists inthe evaluation and development of company policies as required.(5%,S)8.May coordinate with Company departments to resolve engineering, right-of-way and rate issues. RequirementsJOB REQUIREMENTS:Education:High school diploma or GED substantial relevant experience, Associates degree plus relevant experience.Bachelor’s degree in marketing or engineering is preferred.

Skills/Abilities:-Advanced customer relationship skills-Demonstrated project management experience-Knowledge of electric and gas technologies-Strong computer application skills-Strong written and oral communication skills, including speaking before large groups.-Attention to detail and strong analytic skills-Strong negotiation skills
