Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, other relationships:

Establish, administer and monitor company-wide standards, and procedures within the function of environmentalmanagement to minimize risk and ensure compliance with environmental requirements.

Provide environmental compliance support to Avangrid Networks Business Areas, including electric and gas.

Assist in compliance with permits and represent the department during regulatoryinspections, internal/external audits and other meetings with regulators.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):
•Participate in environmental projects as assigned.
•Track regulations and standards.
•Analyze and interpret current and proposed environmental laws, regulations and permits tounderstand the impact on Avangrid Networks and its operations/facilities.
•Provide environmental support and maintain conditions in accordance with environmental permits, licenses,registrations, etc. for day-to-day operations..
•Support the development of Avangrid Network’s Environmental Management System.
•Conduct and/or supervise environmental audits including site assessments, facility audits and audits of outsideservice providers.

•Provide environmental advice to reply to customer’s requests
•Manage environmental contractors during oil/chemical spill responses in the field..
•Maintain all environmental monitoring, records and reportingrequirements.
•Manage compliance requirements after property remediation and/or construction activities are complete.



Education & Experience Required:
•BS/BA Degree
•Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Physical Sciences or related area.

•Experience in the environmental services profession.
•Familiarity with environmental laws and regulations.
•Knowledge/experience with handling gas and/or electric utility specific environmental issues.
•Minimum 2 years
•Provide 24-hour emergency spill response.
•Experience with environmental compliance project management support is preferred.
