JOB SUMMARY: Major Roles & Responsibilities:

Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, other relationships:

In an office environment, the position ensures the timely processing, payment and reporting of critical financial data
regarding both NYSEG and RGE’s wholesale electric and natural gas activity during but not limited to the monthly
closing process. Interacts with IUSA Energy and
Derivative Accounting to ensure complete and accurate reporting of financial data. Performs tie-out, and interacts,
with external counterparties; prepares invoices for approval and payment, and ensures invoices are sent and
received from both counterparties and to Iberdrola
USA for payment or receipt of funds. Interacts with IUSA Cash Management to resolve issues with invoices and

Prepares monthly financial closing documents for management review and approval. Verifies transactions by using
various spreadsheets, databases, and transaction management systems; downloads daily pricing and billing
information from external sources; performs account
verifications; assists in database management and data analysis, analyzes price and bid data to find trends, and
design problems.

Recommends analytical methodologies, conducts analyses, verifies data and prepares reports of wholesale electric
and natural gas NYSEG’s and RGE’s Energy Supply and Transmission Services billing data.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):

1. Prepares information for monthly financial closings and ties- out/verifies invoices received from, and interacts,
with external counterparties. Resolves discrepancies with IUSA cash management. (30%)
2. Enters and verifies data in Supply Department spreadsheets, databases, and transaction management systems.
3. Prepares daily and monthly supply billing reports. (20%)
4. With limited direction analyzes NYSEG & RGE wholesale data and provides analysis to Management for
approval and review. (20%)
5. On a monthly basis performs verification of NYSEG & RGE’s Billing & Risk Management accounts to verify
accuracy of entries. (10%)



Education & Experience Required:

•Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience preferred. Associates Degree with a minimum of
5 years relevant experience required.


•Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

•Ability to perform detailed data verification efficiently and accurately.

•Strong business focus.
