Description

Purpose:Understand the strategic direction of the IT organization, the supporting systems/technologies, and architectures atan enterprise level.Assist in the definition of the architecture and technology needs of the IT organization based on emergingtechnologies. Establish priorities consistent with business needs and goals. Serve as a technical consultant andadvisor to IT management and the business community.Administer, maintain, and develop applications and/or technology solutions. Provide technical expertise and supportfor complex technical problems.

Key Responsibilities:Technical subject matter expert in SAP ERP areas. Has knowledge of related products and technologies andunderstands systems integration. Understands the value and impact of SAP technology as it applies to businessprocesses.Provide technical leadership to projects, teams, and business initiatives as required. Accountable to work withproject teams and management to resolve technical issues .Maintains knowledge of emerging technological trends and utilizes this knowledge to educate both IT and thebusiness community to better utilize SAP solutions that support and drive business decisions. Identify and evaluatenew technologies/services and establish/recommend strategic direction. Find solutions to complex technologyissues, providing direction as required. Stay current on technologies within assigned business area.Lead, plan, coordinate and provide activities associated with SAP technology. Able to adjust priorities in a dynamicfashion to account for changes in business needs.Provides vendor management support of contract negotiating.Lead and manage SAP ECC/CRM upgrades and SAP enhancements Projects

Has supervisory responsibility for ensuring initiatives are carried out according to standards.Expert knowledge/experience in area of focus.Applies risk management concepts.Creates and enforces standards. Recommends policies and procedures. Mentor staff on technical subjects andbusiness related information.Participates in the interview process as requested.Provides input and feedback for performance reviews.Good communication skills with a focus on customer service is required.Prior experience successfully leading large, complex, technical development projects is required. The incumbentmust possess superior leadership skills. Prior experience mentoring or coaching developers is required. 10 Years

Requirements

Qualifications: (minimum qualifications for assignment to this job)Education: BS/BA Degree Experience:Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or Engineering. Requires atleast 10 years IT experience including 8 years in designing and implementing SAP ERP solutions. Experience withfull project lifecycles of SAP ERP systems. Knowledge of SAP structures, configuration, standards, objectdependencies, and tables is required. The incumbent mustdemonstrate mastery in one or more of the following SAP modules: SAP IS-U Billing , Device Management, FICAand CRM
