DEPARTMENT: Customer Service
Hours of Work: 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.

Under general supervision, communicates with employees and the general public regarding operational procedures
in a customer-focused manner and, on an as-needed basis, may be called upon to perform all of the duties of a
Service Tech C.


1. Answers and initiates all telephone calls to and from customers, technicians and employees regarding service
issues (i.e., CGI's, appointments, call befores, assisting Customer Service Reps., etc).

2. Responsible for dispatching work to technicians in the field and the updating and maintaining of technician log

3. Responsible for all dispatcher functions, including responsibility for all administrative duties, such as the
Record and schedule overhaul and parts jobs.
Completing no heat, leak, and dispatcher logs, as well as other logs as necessary.
Assist in the preparation of daily assignment roster.
Preparation of job order count and hours worked report.
Preparation of service orders for order entry personnel.
Entering and recording CGI information.
Preparation of overtime list.
Resolution of follow-up orders.

4. Assists with the preparation of daily workload assignments for all technicians, including shift technicians.
5. Utilization and working knowledge of all computers and office equipment.

6. Assists all Company personnel regarding requests for routine technical information.
7. May be called upon to perform all of the duties of a Service Technician C.
8. Performs miscellaneous work as assigned by manager and/or supervisors in the service department.

2. Must have a minimum of (2) years Customer Service Field experience.
3. Must possess a State of Connecticut PST Certificate.
4. Must possess excellent customer focus skills.
