JOB SUMMARY:

Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, other relationships:

Oversees the activities of the Electric Distribution and Transmission operations,Provides leadership and direction to achieve goals and implement change.Responsibilities include safety, reliability, customer satisfaction, cost-effective resource allocation, staff selectionand development, process improvement and oversight, major project management and daily field operationsactivities. Coordinates and participates in problem- resolution and emergency response with other functions andsubjectmatter experts.Ensures administrative matters such as payroll, budgets, performance reviews, safety, scheduling, and workmanagement reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner.Requires contact with the public, contractors, local government agencies and officials, other utilities, and the media.Requires extensive travel throughout the regions.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):

1. Develops and implements annual business plan for Electric Distribution including O&M and Capital budgets.Monitors ongoing progress and reallocates resources as necessary to ensure goal achievement (Safety, Reliability,and Customer Service).2. Oversee and evaluate work processes. Identifies and implements process improvements. Creates a climate ofinnovation, in which ideas for process improvement are continually encouraged from within the organization.

3. Oversees department’s initiatives, the preparation of budgets and tracking, cost control, and reporting of actualO&M and capital expenditures.4. Responsible for employee goals and objectives while ensuring alignment with department and corporate goals.5. Reviews reports that document performance in meeting department, corporate, or regulatory goals andrequirements.6. Represents the company on various teams or committees regarding state, regional or national issues. Acts asliaison for the Company with customers and with state and municipal agencies to coordinate efforts.

RequirementsJOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years relevant experience; or an Associate’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience.Masters Degree preferred. Thorough knowledge of company, federal and state policies and procedures. Priorsupervisory/management experience. Familiarity with budget preparation. Knowledge of electric maintenancedelivery practices.
