DescriptionJOB SUMMARY (primary responsibilities, what is the role accountablefor):The Senior Analyst position will make strategic contributions to a widevariety of complex activities involving the management of multipleretirement benefit plans and programs. Using analytical, organization,and communication skills, this position is responsible for providingsubject matter expertise on administration, compliance, vendormanagement, reporting, as well as employee communication and educationfor qualified and non-qualified retirement and retiree medical programs.The position will also conduct research and data analysis regardingvarious aspects of the plans, identify and develop process improvements,and implement programs accordingly. The successful candidate should havethe ability to autonomously multi-task assignments, projects and dailyresponsibilities with accuracy and high level of comfort working withall levels of employees, including leadership and executive level.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (scope of work, list oftasks/responsibilities, describe primary relationships/works with):

Work closely with legal team, actuary, and consultants to ensureall retirement plans are in compliance and strategic objectives are metResponsible for administration and operation of all qualified andnon-qualified retirement plans, including contribution/fundingreconciliation, distributions, benefit file coordination and datamaintenance

Manage the annual audit, 5500 process and NDT testingLead response to ad hoc audits, rate case requests, and requiredfilingsResponsible for providing financial metrics and cost analysis ofthe retirement plansAnalyze and implement retirement plan design changes andcommunication initiativesOversee benefit payment administration, funding processes, andvendor billingResponsible for developing and maintaining standard operatingprocedures (SOP’s)

Collect, verify, reconcile, and provide data to external vendorsas needed for computation of benefits, funding requirements, valuations,audits, and performance reportingCollaborate with accounting and financial reporting to ensureappropriate measurement and reporting of plan assets, liabilities, andfunding levelsRespond to and resolve complex inquiries and issues and respondto internal/external requests, including deliverables for global"Working Plan"Manage vendor relationships (trustees, insurance providers, etc.)Review monthly cash forecasts to project liquidity needsParticipate in ad hoc projects, as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTSExperience and Skills Desired:Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or HR related field,plus at least 8 years’ related experience; or the equivalent combinationof education and experienceMBA or other postgraduate related degreeExperience involving employee/retiree communications, laborcontract administration, project management, and strategic planningExcellent understanding of GAAP/IFRS and benefit plan accountingUnderstanding of fair value disclosures and ERISA/DOL/IRS/PBGCregulatory requirementsDemonstrated ability preparing reconciliations and complicatedfinancial analysesExperience documenting processes and controls along with theability to leverage technology to improve or simplify processesExperience working in a global organizationIntermediate to Proficient Microsoft Excel skillsSAP experience, specifically reporting capabilities
