Description

This Analyst position shall provide critical analytical support to the Origination group with the primary responsibilityfor the coordination and submittal of responses to Requests for Proposals issued by the client base (InvestorOwned Utilities, Municipalities, Commercial & Industrial sector), goal of monitoring and reporting activity in themarketplace any intelligence that may impact decisions made by the origination team and finally this position willbe responsible for gaining knowledge of the energy industry and its players, energy procurement activities and itsgoals, and market challenges to create accurate assessments of the interrelationships and the resulting marketneeds. The desired candidate will be able to provide new perspectives/approaches on existing tasks/solutions,work independently in a self-directed manner, and actively work to foster good working relationship with bothinternal and external stakeholders.Responsibilities include:
• Management of the RFP submittals, including coordination with the regional Originator and internalstakeholders to create the RFP work product
• Assess and translate market competition, industry trends, emerging customer challenges and fundamentalchanges in the marketplace into market strategies and product offerings

Requirements


• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or related discipline or theequivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years’ work experience. The company may consider a recent college graduate without work experience ata lower level.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to solve abstract problems with limited information, attention to detail and

organization.
• Well-developed computer skills including familiarity with standard Microsoft Office applications, and programsused to analyze large data sets.
• Excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to clearly communicate abstract and technicalconcepts to various audiences (colleagues, senior management, etc.).

Preference may be given to candidates with the following:


• Experience in energy markets.

A credit check will be administered when a prospective employee will beworking in Finance, Accounting, Treasury or where duties may involve handling of funds, accounts or cash.
