The Energy Management Analyst is responsible for providing analytical support to the various groups within Energy
Management, Power Trading and Resource Scheduling. Energy Management Analysts also work closely with
Mid-Office and Back Office personnel to assist with resolving discrepancies between systems or counterparties.
Energy Management Analysts assist various groups within Energy Management and across the organization with
the implementation of new systems and assets as well as identify opportunities to improve processes. Duties and
responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Trade entry, validation and reconciliation between systems
• Reconcile and correct Market ISO positions.
• Balancing of generating assets and strategy positions within systems
• Assisting traders with tracking profit and losses as well as positions
• Work closely with Mid and Back Office Personnel to assist with resolving discrepancies
• Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed and identify opportunities to improve processes
• Assist in the implementation of new systems and/or assets into trading systems.
• Create, maintain and improve web-based reports and data repositories
• Adhere to effective internal controls .

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

• 3+ years analytical experience. (candidates with less experience and or limited work experience with a
college degree may be considered at a lower level)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
• Proven experience with detail orientation and data accuracy
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

Preference may be given to candidates with the following:

• 2+ years experience using high-level mathematics and statistics, preferably in the energy industry.
• Experience working with power trading and/or scheduling systems.
