JOB SUMMARY: Major Roles & Responsibilities

Assists in billing CMP's largest customers consistent with the Company's tariffs. Assists in contract management of
all transmission service agreements, large customer service agreements and interconnection agreements. Assists
with processing distribution interconnection requests and assuring customers receive excellent service from CMP
throughout the MPUC Chapter 324 interconnection process. Work extends to similar tasks at affiliate companies,
including United Illuminating and New York State Electric and Gas and Rochester Gas and Electric.

This position reports to the Manager of Transmission and Interconnection Services and maintains relationships with
customer service, service centers and other company departments.


1. Determines accurate bills for CMP's largest customers, consistent with the Company's tariffs, and assure
bills are delivered to customers timely. Also insures all accounting related to these bills are properly reflected within
SAP (P - 25%);
2. Assists with insuring that the Company and customers adhere to all contract requirements in transmission
service requirements, relevant customer service requirements, OASIS and Interconnection Agreements (P- 25%);
3. Assist with distribution interconnections, including the processing, analyzing, managing, and administering for
all Level 1 and Level 2 Chapter 324 applications. Assure all timeframes are met within the allowable MPUC set time
frames while establishing a working relationship with customers and installers. (P- 40%); and

4. Assists with the twice weekly and monthly verification of ISO-NE bills and insures accurate accounting for the
individual items is reflected in the accounting system and SAP (P - 10%).

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education, Skills & Abilities
Education & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred. Associates degree with minimum three years relevant experience or High
School/GED with a minimum of five years relevant experience required.
• Relevant experience is:
1. Working on tasks that must comply with state or federal regulations, with preference given for electric utility
2. Analyzing data in order to provide suggested improvements, direction or suggestions for further analysis
needed to solve problems; and
3. Serving customers by providing direction for their requests or by responding to questions on billings and
other items.

• Highly motivated, dependable, and self-starting;
• Works well on a team and with other company departments and customers;
• Focus on providing excellent service to internal and external customers;
• Able to express themselves clearly and succinctly orally and in writing; and
• Well-developed MS Office and SAP skills
