Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, other relationships:

Provides support for the AVANGRID EMS/SCADA/DMS/OMS used to operate electric and gas transmission and
distribution systems (Energy Management System/ Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System/ Distribution
Management System/ Outage Management System). Performs maintenance on applications, data,
communications, user interface screens, and Control Center systems as per standard procedures. Works within
and supports the high security environment of the Control Center. Maintains and creates documentation for
supported platforms and systems.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):

1. Performs maintenance and development on EMS/ SCADA/ DMS/OMS and back office platforms. Performs
installation and maintenance of communications interfaces, serial and network based.

2. Performs maintenance and testing of the database, data, system models, applications, and user presentation
screens to support Control Center Operations. Assists with the design and implementation of
EMS/SCADA/DMS/OMS System upgrades, expansions and replacement projects. Assists with the design,
implementation and support of network security systems and policies to meet regulatory standards.

3. Provides guidance and ensures compliance with appropriate regulations and procedures. Participates in the
development and training of policies and procedures.

4. Maintain Remote Terminal Unit and associated field equipment and associated communication equipment
including telephone and radio systems used in control center operations and back-up facilities. Assists with

recommendations and consultation to Control Center Facilities to support 24/7 availability.

Education & Experience Required:

• Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of related
experience in a technical environment. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/Controls Engineering is
preferred and can be substituted for related experience.

• Knowledge of Gas SCADA system applications. Schneider/ Telvent OASyS DNA preferred.
• Knowledge of Gas SCADA RTU configuration. Fisher ROC & FloBoss preferred.
• Background in Gas Measurement fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of PHMSA Control Room Management requirements a plus.
• Knowledge of database development or support or programming experience.
• Knowledge of computer networking, hardware, applications or data communications equipment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Visual Studio experience a plus.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and policies.
