Responsibilities

Provide direct Billing configuration & Billprint support in SAP to Customer Service TS&S team. Serve as liaison between the business area and IT staff and/or system vendors as required. Research and analyze business area requests to define and document business requirements and develop solutions employing technology as appropriate. Assist in assessing the impact of proposed solutions or enhancements to other systems or business areas. Possess direct work experience in a related business environment or in close technical support of the business. Coordinate development, testing, and implementation of system changes with IT (e.g., defining requirements, developing work plans, coordinating testing and cut-over to production, and training end users).

Skills and Requirements

Education: BS/BA Degree Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science or other analytical discipline required. Master's Degree courses or graduate level training is preferred. 7 years of experience with business systems (SAP Billing & Billprint environment preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first level support and expertise in SAP ISU/CCS Billing configuration & Billprint to the Customer Service TS&S team.
  • Collaborate with the Principal Analyst to configure and support Billing Configuration changes to meet new as well as ongoing requirement from Billing, Bill Printing, Pricing, and Rate & Regulatory departments.
  • Lead testing of rate changes and trouble shooting. 
  • Provide first level of support to the Business Area with emphasis on various technologies used and systems deployed by that area. This includes knowledge of system operations, data retrieval and reporting via standard querying and reporting tools, perform system administration tasks including but not limited to application security, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, debugging, reporting, issue resolution with IT and/or system vendors and compliance with audit and regulatory controls. 
  • Act as a liaison and communicate effectively with business users, vendors, and IT to resolve systems/application needs and issues. 
  • Assist in assessing impacts of any application or system changes on business operations and other applications and systems. 
  • Work with the business area to establish needs, priorities, functionality, standards, procedures, and documentation for technical solutions.
  • Ensure that the business requirements of the proposed solution are incorporated into design specifications
  • Create testing strategies for proposed solutions and coordinate resources to plan and execute user acceptance testing.
  • Provide training as required by the business area.
  • Research business areas current systems/applications and processes to identify potential risks and opportunity to promote process improvements based on best business practices and utilizing functionality within the business systems.
  • Support other areas of SAP ISU including Device Management (DM), Workflows, FICA, and Customer Service.
  • Ability to work independently with only administrative and general direction from supervision.
