Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reportingrelationships, other relationships:

-Using historical data to develop forecasts and/or forecasts provided by others, prepare NYSEG and RG&E electriccommodity supply budgets.-Collect actual data throughout the year to update budgets and preparevariance reports. Conduct in-depth analysisof variance reports to insure accurate results. Compare journal entries to SAP information.-Provide information for financial reports.


MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):

1. Prepare NYSEG and RG&E electric commodity supply budgets.(25%,P)2. Prepare budget updates and variance reports.(20%,P)3. Conduct in-depth analysis of variance reports.(25%,P)4. Compare journal entries to SAP information.(10%,S)5. Provide information for financial reports.(10%,S)6. Other tasks as assigned.(10%,S)

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience Required:

•Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience preferred. Associates Degree with a minimumof 5 years relevant experience required.
•Experience with: Company accounting practices, Commodity markets, NYISO markets, wholesale markettransactions, Power Purchase Agreements, NYPA transactions, or regulatory entities and tariffs.
•Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
•MS Excel and Access.
•Proficiency with complex spreadsheet analysis
