Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, other relationships:

Establishes, administers and monitors company-wide regulatory standards, procedures and performance, tominimize risk and ensure compliance with NERC and NPCC regulatory rules. Specializes and focuses on cyber andelectric grid reliability risk reduction. Provides specialized technical expertise to reduce compliance risk.Responsible for program development and performance tracking reporting. Provides assistance to all affiliatecompanies.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):

1. Works to determine whether appropriate compliance process and procedure is underway and seeks resolution ofany variation from requirements as set out in contract. Responsibilities include coordinating/overseeing contractorsand consultants, managing project costs.2. Works with the functional lines of business management teams to develop appropriate plans for all complianceactivity, identifying the optimum schedules to both meet compliance schedule requirements and being cognizant ofthe operational business requirement. Interfaces with the appropriate regulatory agencies, minimizing Corporaterisks and public liabilities.3. Develops corporate compliance programs, or procedures that minimize risks appropriate to NERC System

Protection regulatory requirements.Serves as a Process and Technologies primary technical expert in the area of compliance actions and goals withinan area of specialty.4. Develops and conducts training both in house and in the field that ensures understanding and implementation ofboth current and new compliance requirements.5. Utilizes performance reporting to understand and ensure implementation of all compliance requirements.Identifies gaps and works with the functional lines of business to implement remediating produces reports andenforcing all regulations6. Leads Root Cause analysis and incident investigations in relation to potential non-compliance and providesreporting and management of potential non-compliance mitigation.7. Prepares Compliance Enforcement Management Program documentation in partnership with subject matterexperts.



Education & Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience preferred. Associates Degree with a minimumof 5 years relevant experience required.Direct experience with NERC regulatory requirements preferred. Direct experience in one or more areas of Cybersecurity, Government Compliance, or regulatory reporting required. A background in Federal regulatory Complianceor cyber system administration is a benefit.Previous experience directing external resources to deliver compliance or regulatory requirement results is abenefit.


• Excellent verbal and written communications skills with ability to take complex, legislative, regulatory or technicalrequirements and explain in easy to understand manner.• Able to work independently, and exercise considerable judgment and decision-making supporting ongoingcompliance processes and report failures of these processes.• Able to direct outside consultants on the technical / delivery requirements of evidence of compliance and evaluatetheir progress, providing remediation required and following through to ensure delivery.• Demonstrated ability to create and deliver training on standards, procedures and processes.• Strong organizational and negotiation skills to establish agreements for meeting and exceeding compliance goalsand deadlines.• Able to work under tight deadlines with changing priorities.
